Description
- The IR Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module is an electronic sensing module that uses infrared light to detect the presence of objects. The sensor consists of an IR transmitter and an IR receiver. When an object comes within range, the emitted infrared light is reflected back to the receiver, triggering the sensor output.
- The module provides a digital output signal and features an onboard potentiometer for adjusting detection sensitivity. It can be easily interfaced with Arduino, ESP32, NodeMCU, Raspberry Pi, and other development boards.
- Due to its low cost, fast response time, and simple operation, the IR sensor is commonly used in obstacle avoidance robots, line-following robots, automation systems, and object detection applications.
